By way of this publication, EKT presents evidence of the high-technology sector business demography in Greece. The evidence is cross-temporal and concerns the most recent period (2011 to 2015) and abides to standard (Eurostat) classification of the ‘high-tech sector’ (HTC) that includes ‘high-technology manufacturing industries’ (NACE 21, 26) and ‘high-tech knowledge intensive services’ (NACE 59-63, 72)., EKT makes use of the data provided by the General Electronic Commercial Registry (GEMI), the public registry of commercial enterprises.
