Statistics on doctorate holders focus on young doctorate holders graduating each year from Greek universities, the top human research personnel of the country, with very high levels of abilities, skills and expertise. They are included in statistics on Research,Technology, Development and Innovation (RTDI) which are produced by the National Documentation Centre (EKT), as the competent authority of the Hellenic Statistical System.
Data are drawn from registration forms for the National PhD Theses Archive EKT and the accompanying e-questionnaire completed by young doctorate holders.
Statistics on the demographic characteristics of young doctorate holders, their scientific expertise, doctoral studies, international mobility during studies and previous education are all available under this section.
