GERD up by 5.8% in Greece in 2020
In 2020, R&D expenditure in Greece reached 2,473.45 million euro, which marked an increase of 5.8% when compared to 2019. In the Business Enterprise Sector, the R&D expenditure rose to 1,147.52 M€, which was 6.5% higher than 2019. In the Higher Education Sector, the R&D expenditure rose to 774.39 M€, which was 8.1 % higher than 2019. In the Government Sector, the R&D expenditure rose to 537.21 M€, which was 2.5% higher than 2019.
