In 2023, R&D expenditure in Greece reached 3,362.69 million euro, increased by 292.39 million euro compared to 2022 (9.5% increase). More specifically, according to R&D expenditure preliminary data, there is an increase in all sectors of activity: the business sector, the higher education sector, the government sector and the sector of private non-profit institutions.
