GERD up by 6.7% in Greece in 2018
In 2018, R&D expenditure in Greece reached 2,174.67 million euro (provisional data), which marked an increase of 6.7% when compared to 2017. In the Business Enterprise Sector, the R&D expenditure rose to 1,049.5 M€, which was 5.6% higher than 2017. In the Higher Education Sector, the R&D expenditure rose to 618.58 M€, which was 7.2 % higher than 2017. In the Government Sector, the R&D expenditure rose to 484.95 M€, which was 7.5% higher than 2017.
